Indie Theater Now introduces The FringeNYC Collection, a retrospective of some of the best work from the past 15 years of the New York International Fringe Festival. The collection of over 100 plays includes two plays by Omar Sangare: True Theatre Critic (The Best in Acting at The New York International Fringe Festival in 1997 and the Best Performance Award at the San Francisco Fringe Festival in 2008) and Juliet (The Best in Acting at The Theatre Festival on The Jerzy Grotowski Stage in Wroclaw, Poland in 1999).

Among many of FringeNYC’s writers are: Trav S.D., Vincent Marano, Liza Lentini, Carolyn Raship, Leslie Bramm, Jeff LaGreca, Joe Salvatore, Kevin Free, Ed Malin, Jeff Tabnick, Anthony Pennino, Harrington & Kauffman, Stephen Svoboda, David Dannenfelser, Stanton Wood, Chris Harcum, Robert Attenweiler, Saviana Stanescu, Alex DeFazio, Ellen Anderson, Robert Moulthrop, Frank Kuzler, Todd Michael, Adrian Rodriguez, and Kelly McAllister.

Indie Theater Now is a project of The New York Theatre Experience, Inc. (NYTE), a dynamic, constantly expanding digital library of plays by playwrights whose work meets the criteria of the library publication program. Selected plays bring challenging, arresting, and inspiring, contemporary theater to readers online. This new collection has been officially announced and supported by nytheatre.com
